Wandering Brooklyn

Guess this is due to be a regular feature. It is home, but there’s so much more to it than that… Exactly why it’s my home!

Luckily my first day off in over a week is a beautiful one! I’m sitting in Prospect Park, about to go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens with my family.

Just had a great little picnic that combined some of my favorite food groups from three favorite cultures. Finocchioni, sopressata & cinotto soda (Italy), Catalan olives (Spain), crotin (French cheese), and a special baguette roll… all from Blue Apron Foods in Park Slope.

Now to walk it off!
