Chef’s Night Off – Filipino Cooking Class

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this long, relaxing weekend! I’ve even had time to work out the menu for Sunday’s cooking class. This is the simplified version and is subject to additions and ingredient changes based on market availability… come hungry!

Soup: Fish Sinigang

Fish: Mixed Fish Kilawin (like ceviche) and “Bangus”-style Trout

Meat(s): Chicken and Pork Adobo and Crispy Pata

Rice

Banana Heart Salad (market-permitting)

Water spinach

Ube & Avocado ice creams

Casava Bibinka (cake)

Palitaw (sticky rice cakes)

Did I mention to come hungry?!
