Taking it Easy

I’m laying low. Feeling a bit under the weather and have a huge day planned for tomorrow’s wanderings, so taking it easy.
Today’s great adventures, so far, have included cooking egg in the basket with my three-year old niece and taking her to the farmers market for treats (beautiful camelias, fresh apple cider, and croissant for two – and some garlic scapes for my dinner tomorrow).

We also had lunch with her mom and dad at TriBeCa Bread. As nice as the family time was, the food was not memorable – or worth the price. Explains why it was so empty on a Saturday afternoon. But, when the company is good, the food can (occasionally) take the back seat.

Now I’m back in Brooklyn wondering what’s for dinner?
